"Les astres sont plus purs, l'ombre paraît meilleure ;
Un vague demi-jour teint le dôme éternel ;
Et l'aube douce et pâle, en attendant son heure,
Semble toute la nuit errer au bas du ciel."
Extrait des Nuits de Juin de Victor Hugo

The stars are pure, the shade seems so pleasant;
A hazy half-day colors the eternal dome;
And the sweet pale dawn awaiting her hour
Seems to wander all night at the bottom of the sky.
June nights excerpt, Victor Hugo

I do not use any filter for that particular one.   The Northern solstice light is exceptional in that matter and almost no post edition was needed.  However, I am using exceptional camera lenses.  If you go to my first page, you should see the list of all the camera gear I am using in general by clicking "interest" and then tools of the trade...
For this specific photo, I have been using the fabulous lens ZUIKO 100mm a F/2 of course with the pro Olympus E5...
