A European starling, étourneau sansonnet (Sturnus vulgaris) is feeding its chick here in Norway after scolding us paparazzis. :D

The way you have captured the colours in the plumage of the adult is stunning and both stand out so nicely from the background colour.

BEautiful shot, but I'm afraid the parent has nothing to offer the chick. The beak is empty. :(

This species is regurgitating their food to the chicken beak.

No they aren´t. These little fellows are living in a bird house around a barn at a farm where I go regularly. My blue tits neighbors have moved out of their treehole 2 weeks ago with their offsprings :( I get now the regular visit of a blackbird chicken around, it seems to check me out around the house and I treat him well ;)

Oh yeah, my birds are missing me, but there are lots of blackbirds here around. Today, I have heard them. I have spotted a female and a male. Also a magpie chicken is pecking around my kitchen :P

By the way: its so sweet seeing a bond between parent and child, especially in the animal world
